These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DayForge mobile application ("the app," "DayForge," "we," "our," or "us"), developed and operated by Daniyal (daniyali7). By downloading, installing, or using DayForge you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use DayForge on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
"User Content" means any information you enter into DayForge, including habit names, completion records, notes, and any other content you create.
You retain full ownership of your User Content. By using DayForge, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your User Content solely to provide the app's features to you (for example, syncing across devices if you have an account).
We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your User Content, and we will not use it for advertising or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
DayForge is free to download and use with the following limitations: up to 5 habits, 1 streak freeze per month, and 7-day statistics view. All users have access to per-habit daily reminders, XP, badges, and the full gamification system.
Pro subscriptions unlock unlimited habits, full history, 3 freezes/month, extended heatmap views (28/90/365 days), 20+ themes, widgets, and CSV/PDF export.
Billing. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time through your iPhone's App Store settings: Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions → DayForge. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro access until then.
Refunds. All purchases are processed through Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
Price changes. We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of any price change before it takes effect. Continued use of a subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Free trials. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited upon purchase of a subscription during the trial period.
Lifetime purchases are one-time payments for perpetual access to Pro features as they exist at the time of purchase, and reasonable future updates. They do not guarantee access if the app is discontinued.
You agree not to use DayForge to:
DayForge, including its name, logo, design, code, and all content we create (excluding your User Content), is owned by or licensed to Daniyal. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you except the limited license granted in Section 1.
"DayForge" and "Forge Your Day" are proprietary names of the developer. You may not use them without our express written permission.
DayForge is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that streak data, notifications, or any other feature will function perfectly at all times.
DayForge is a personal productivity tool. It does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. Habit tracking outcomes depend entirely on your own effort.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Daniyal (daniyali7) be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use DayForge, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to DayForge shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) $10 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Daniyal from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of DayForge, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
DayForge integrates third-party services including Supabase, RevenueCat, PostHog, and Sentry. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.
All in-app purchases are processed by Apple Inc. and are governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to DayForge at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
You may stop using DayForge at any time. Deleting the app from your device ends your use, but does not automatically delete cloud account data — you must delete your account in-app or contact us to remove server-side data.
Upon termination, the license granted in Section 1 is automatically revoked. Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, and 12 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of DayForge shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of your country that cannot be waived by contract.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice via an in-app notification. Your continued use of DayForge after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
